Michael Nassirian is a visionary entrepreneur, consultant and investor from Seattle, USA. Through his career Michael worked for two tech giants Texas Instruments and Microsoft. Atsushi Sasawaki graduated at the Aoyama-gakuin University in Tokyo. He has been working in the Japanese corporation Omron for 25 years. Omron’s primary business is the production and sale of automation components, equipment and systems, and they are especially recognizable for their medical equipment, such as digital thermometers, blood pressure monitors, and nebulizers. In his career, Atsushi has gained rich sales and marketing experience in factory automation, solar energy, safety components, and optical devices. He has successfully led the photovoltaics business of a corporation with top market share on the Japanese residential market. He also led the solar and battery hybrid inverter business in Japan and the factory automation sensors business in the Niigata area.
Heather Corcoran leads outreach for Kickstarter in the UK and Europe, with a focus on the Design & Technology communities. Based in London, she works closely with innovators, creators, and makers who use Kickstarter to bring new products to life.
Before that, she was the Executive Director of Rhizome, the influential digital art organisation based at the New Museum, New York, and its celebrated art-meets-tech conference, Seven on Seven. She was a curator at the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT), Liverpool, exhibition manager at Barbican Centre, and managed the media labs at places like Space Media Arts, London and Interaccess, Toronto.

Bogdanov helps companies in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe that leverage R&D resources with connections in Silicon Valley to grow their business. He has a PhD in Applied Physics from Stanford University and gained his first experiences as a System Design Engineer at KLA Tencor, later as Investment Director at Sistema Telecom and as Partner at Russian Technologies.
He has worked as technical PV asset manager of a portfolio over 150MW in Italy and been responsible of the largest operational PV plant in Bulgaria. He has also contributed as Site Manager to the construction of a 10MW PV facility in France. In addition to that, Adrian has provided PV designs, technical due diligences and onsite technical audits to several hundreds of PV solar MWs. He holds a Master of Engineering in Energy Technologies from the Carlos III University of Madrid and a Master in Economics from UNED.

During her studies, she started working as a reporter on national television station RTV Slovenia, where she remained for three years after finishing studying of Economics. She continued her career at the Ministry, with jurisdiction over development and promotion of entrepreneurship. She carried out various functions the for the promotion of entrepreneurship, among others she led the sector for promotion of entrepreneurship.
In the year 2002, she became the assistant of the director of the Slovene Enterprise Fund and became its director in the year 2007.
She has numerous domestic and foreign experiences in financial management of small and medium-sized enterprises, financing of entrepreneurial sector, financial planning and formation of strategic measures for development acceleration of young innovative companies and companies with high growth potential. As a lecturer, she collaborates with various educational institutions and is a member of various expert groups for financial planning of support for the entrepreneurial sector in Slovenia as well as in Europe.
