2. PODIM Challenge
The PODIM Challenge is the most dynamic segment of the investment part of the conference, with a pitching competition for startups in early development stages looking for a venture capital seed investment. This year's PODIM Challenge will have a strong presence of esteemed investors from all over the world and will be strengthened through collaboration with blue-chip companies from Slovenia and the region.
3. PODIM Startup Catalogue
PODIM is annually attended by more than 200 startups from Slovenia and the Alps-Adriatic region. We list the most promising ones and introduce them in a catalogue that helps investors and corporate representatives in choosing and planning organized personalised 1:1 meetings.
4. PODIM App
The PODIM app is an additional opportunity for active networking of startups and investors. According to PODIM 2016 participants, the app “with its rich content, interactivity, social connections, up-to-date news, but mostly with the possibility of establishing personal contacts in the real world, worked perfectly and was a very positive surprise!”.
5. Slovenian Startup of the Year Award
Since 2008, the PODIM Conference has been highlighting and rewarding ambassadors of Slovenian startup entrepreneurship whose achievements, actions, reputation and development potential represent a new generation of Slovenian innovative entrepreneurs. Many amongst them establish contact with investors and acquire fresh capital for growth precisely at the PODIM Conference.
